Principal player of the Tokyo Symphony Orchestra. First Asian participant to win first prize (the Taiga Award) at the International Oboe Competition of Japan upon its 11th holding at Karuizawa, where she also won the Audience Award. Recipient of the 27th Idemitsu Music Award. Has performed alongside orchestras, starting with the Tokyo Symphony Orchestra and the Tokyo Metropolitan Symphony Orchestra. Has also played together with oboe greats such as Heinz Holliger and Maurice Bourgue. Member of Ensemble FOVE.
